Katie Fonville
Head of School
With over 14 years of experience in education, Mrs. Fonville has consistently demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence, student-centered learning, and spiritual growth. Her leadership style is characterized by authenticity, empowerment, and a strong sense of servant leadership. She received a bachelors degree from Harding University and her Masters in Educational Leadership from TCU. Prior to serving as the Elementary Principal at MC Prep for two years, she was in public education from 2009-2022. Not only does she love the classroom, but she has also coached volleyball, basketball, and softball. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. She also loves running, reading, and eating delicious food!

Briana Cheema
Elementary Principal (K-5th)
Mrs. Cheema has been with MC Prep since 2020, serving as a fourth and sixth grade teacher and curriculum writer. Mrs. Cheema has a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Mrs. Cheema is passionate about Biblical Worldview shaping to equip students to encounter God through academics and empower them to defend their faith. Mrs. Cheema and her husband Chris have been married for 11 years and have three children, Zaidon, Asher and Nova. In her spare time, she enjoys baking sourdough breads and running.

Richard Clayton
Secondary Principal (6-12th Grade)
Mr. Clayton has been at MC Prep (formally known as CCA) for over 15 years. He has a Bachelors in History, a Bachelors in Integrated Social Studies and a Masters in Education. He is passionate about developing Kingdom Leaders spiritually and academically. He has been married for over 39 years to his high school sweetheart, Charlene and has three daughters and seven grandchildren. In his free time, he loves connecting with God through creation and spending time outdoors.

Sean Riley
Athletic Director
Coach Sean Riley joined Mercy Culture Preparatory in 2022 and serves as Head Varsity Football Coach, and Varsity Track Coach. A former professional football player with over 15 years of coaching experience, he has helped lead MC Prep football to historic playoff victories and guided multiple track athletes to district, regional, and state championships. Coach Riley holds honors degrees in Psychology, Religion, and Sport Management, a master’s in Sports Management, and is a Doctoral Candidate in Strategic Leadership. Married to Heather for 27 years, he is the proud father of three sons—Cory (U.S. Marine), Dylan (U.S. Army), and Sean Jr. (MC SLS).

Alan Armendarez
MC Prep Pastor
Pastor Alan is passionate about stewarding the spiritual development of young people and joined MC Prep with a heart to partner with families in raising Kingdom Leaders. Born and raised in Fort Worth, he attended Texas Bible Institute, where he deepened his understanding of the Holy Spirit, and later earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of North Texas. Pastor Alan has been married to his high school sweetheart, Alondra, and together they are raising three daughters—Tatiana, Talia, and Paula. In his free time, Pastor Alan enjoys jogging as a way to encounter God and playing pickleball.
